About Us
Innovative
Resources is the publishing
and bookselling arm of St Luke's Anglicare – an organisation
that has been providing a wide range of community services
throughout North Central Victoria, Australia for more than
25 years.
Our
range of original books and therapeutic tools can be used
by human service workers in many different roles and cultures.
Innovative Resources is committed to creating materials
that:
- have a strengths-based
philosophy (focusing on strengths rather than deficits)
- use straightforward, jargon-free
language
- are readily-useable and
don't require special training
- meet high quality graphic
and production standards
- have cultural relevance
and show respect
Innovative
Resources also offers a range of interactive, conversation-based
workshops that provide participants with opportunities for
experimenting with our card sets and stickers. We are particularly
interested in how resources can free up the creativity of
people who work transformatively with others – and, of course,
the creativity of their clients.
