Making a Donation - June 2007 Appeal

It is wonderful to share that many people in the community have joined the journey with us and are sharing in St Luke's mission. This commitment to the well being of children, young people and families living in north central Victoria is vital and your support is much appreciated.

You may be in a position to make tax-deductible donations and you may like to consider St Luke's as a worthy prospective financial beneficiary. St Luke's is endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office as a deductible gift recipient and income tax exempt charitable organisation. All donations to St Luke's over $2 are tax-deductible.

St Luke's carries a reputation of working to effect meaningful change in the lives of children, young people and families in our local community; those who are having trouble dealing with the everyday challenges that life presents.

We work with over 1000 people everyday in our communities within north central Victoria.

Of the overall budget 80% is spent on direct client related expenses, with the remaining 20% required for administration and site and utility expenses. As an overarching concept 80 cents out of every $1 received by St Luke's, irrespective of the source, is expended on services to the community.

St Luke's would be happy to 'tag' contributions to your choice of cause; for example, if the well being and care of children is of paramount importance to you we can ensure that your donation is forwarded to that particular service area.

Similarly if you have a particular affection for a St Luke's service location, eg Castlemaine, we can ensure that the area is the beneficiary of your generosity.
