St Luke’s is looking to recruit an experienced worker as Team Leader for our Kinship Care Service. The Team Leader will directly supervise a team of staff providing a range of services including:
§ Kinship information and advice services
§ Kinship family services
§ Kinship placement support services
The team will provide case management and community placement support services to kinship carers and the young people living in kinship care placements in the Loddon Campaspe region. The team is based in Bendigo at the St Luke’s Hargreaves st Office.
The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, well organised, skilled in working with carers, children, adolescents and families. A good knowledge of child and adolescent development and the child protection system is also required. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to working collaboratively with a range of service providers are essential. Applicants need to have previous experience in the Child, Youth and Family field and a formal qualification in social work, welfare studies or related field.

Salary Range: SW3 Years 1 – 4 as per St Luke’s Collective Agreement 2008.
