St Luke’s is looking to recruit a Senior Case Manager for our Kinship Care Service.  This position will be based in Bendigo and travel to outlying areas within the Loddon Campaspe Shire.
 
The Kinship Care team provides a range of support services to kinship carers and the children and young people in their care including:
§  Kinship information and advice services
§  Kinship family services
§  Kinship placement support services
The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, with a good knowledge of child development and the child protection system, possess skills in engaging with children and families and confidence in working with kinship carers.  The senior worker role requires advanced case management and family work skills, together with skills in staff supervision and support. Excellent organisational and communication skills and a commitment to working collaboratively with a range of service providers are essential.
 
Applicants need to have previous experience in family work and a formal qualification in social work, welfare or related field.

Salary Range:  SW2   Years 1-4 as per St Luke’s Collective Agreement 2008.
