CEO Profile - David Pugh

David is the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer at St Luke's Anglicare and has been with St Luke's for 17 years starting in 1989. He has overseen the development of the Community Services area with particular interest in the provision of support to people with a psychiatric disability.

Over the past four years David's role has been to provide a broader leadership role across the agency as Deputy Chief Executive Officer. David is also a Director of Innovative Resources, responsible for financial planning and export development.

David's current board involvements include President of Victorian Council of Social Service (VCOSS) and Treasurer of the Star Community Cinema Association Inc.

David Pugh commenced his working life as a Secondary teacher in Northern Territory followed by time as an Community Development Worker in Aboriginal Communities.

In 1985 David returned to Bendigo and worked for 5 years at White Hills Secondary College as a Chaplain/Counselor after completing a Certificate in Clinical Pastoral Education.

David qualified with a Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Hons) from Melbourne University , Diploma of Education (Secondary) from Latrobe University Bendigo and has recently completed a Master of Business.
