The North Central
Victorian Family Services Alliance’s main objectives are
to:
Support the integrated development and operation
of services to vulnerable children, young people and families in
the sub-region.
Develop collaborative sub-region strategic and
service responses to requirements of the Children and Youth and
Family Services Act 2005, ‘best interests
principle’, and the Strategic Framework for Family
Services.
Promote effective planning, development,
coordination and provision of an integrated catchment family
service system (including Child FIRST).
Perform the following core functions in the North
Central catchment:

Family Services catchment
planning.

Operational management and
coordination (including Child FIRST and other DHS-funded catchment
program areas).

Coordination of service
delivery.
-
Family Services network facilitation
and support.
