Volunteering

Gifting your time, gaining rewards

The Friends of St Luke’s Volunteers make a positive difference to the lives of many people across our community in a variety of ways. It’s an enriching experience for our volunteers too.

Our volunteers give us so much and we’re committed to caring for and supporting them too. Our aim is to ensure each person has a wonderful experience partnering with us and strengthening our whole community.

Becoming a volunteer

We have two intakes of volunteers each year for our “Friends of Foster Care”. If you would like to learn more about Friends of Foster Care volunteers please contact us.

If you’d like to volunteer in the community, you can attend a free Volunteer Course. The course details what to expect, what to ask for when volunteering, and provides a solid foundation for you to be ‘volunteer ready’.

You can book into one of the courses by calling Bendigo Volunteer Resource Centre
(03) 5441 1404 or bgovolunteercentre@ymca.org.au

If you would like more information please call us on (03) 5444 8100 or email us and we will mail you our “Introduction to St Luke’s” brochure and any other relevant information.
