WELCOME

The St Luke’s team works for change: change in people’s lives, families and communities. We don’t concentrate just on people’s problems or short-term relief from daily crisis. Instead, we look with them to a future that they choose for themselves.

We start working with people because of an immediate need. We keep working with them because of our fundamental belief that people have within themselves the strengths and resources to effect real change in their lives. It’s known as the “strengths-based” approach.

Services
We work across the Loddon Mallee and Riverina regions into NSW.  St Luke’s provides over 60 types of services ranging from family counselling, out-of-home and respite care, youth housing, psychiatric disability programs, and gambler’s help and financial counselling. We’re involved in programs that explore ways to build neighbourhood support in communities. We host support groups, art groups, music groups and youth entrepreneurial projects to build self-esteem, confidence and develop skills.

Strengths based training and resourcesWe offer strengths based training through our Training team, and strengths based resources through our publishing arm, Innovative Resources.

Become a partner of St Luke’s
Government funding does not cover all our day-to-day work or our many innovative projects, so we rely on the support and donations of businesses, trusts and foundations, and our caring community members. Eighty per cent of donations go directly to making a difference to our clients.

Work with St Luke’s
St Luke’s is a progressive growing organisation with a range of exciting career opportunities. With over 300 employees across central and northern Victoria and New South Wales, we’re big enough to offer a formal structure with career path and growth opportunities, yet small enough to keep it ‘non-bureaucratic’, friendly and relaxed. When you look at the advantages of working at St Luke’s, it just could be your ideal workplace.
